I am most proud of my poems. Not anyone in particular, but I think these are the best poems I have written, especially since I do not like poetry and often do not have much to write about. I see myself struggling in open ended prompts as well as in areas of disinterest such as persuasion and non-fiction. As a writer, my writing reveals exactly how I feel in that moment of writing it. You can tell some of my most recent pieces are sad, because I was sad. You also can notice when I became disinterested while writing or a writing piece as a whole. I think as a teacher of writing, I will make sure to rotate what I do for writing prompts so I can reach every writer. If possible, I would come up with a prompt in two ways to reach more students.
