My thesis for this paper was: “A liberal arts education is one that encompasses many areas of study as it uses an integrated curriculum, allowing students to receive a well-rounded education. Due to its universal usage throughout society, I think that a liberal arts education is the most useful form of education.” I chose this writing project because I think it was my strongest project. I can relate to the idea of a liberal arts education and degree being important as I am studying at a liberal arts institution. This paper uses the works of Jeffery Scheuer, Sanford J. Ungar, and the UNE CAS Handbook. At the end of the paper, I integrated Steven Waechter’s ideas against a liberal arts institution. I was more comfortable writing this paper than I did the first one and I think it is one of my stronger projects. I also think I was better at integrating my opinion into it that the other projects we have worked on.
