Artifact 1 – SPE 301

CCTS 3 states: The teacher works with learners to create environments that support individual and collaborative learning, encouraging positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation.  

I believe this artifact aligns with this CCTS standard. The artifact is a summary and reflection of what I learned within the first few weeks of the course regarding to the first few weeks of school. I pulled on knowledge from the class as well as personal experience in fieldwork in order to determine where the teacher in the case study needed help. My reasoning is shown throughout the work.

This artifact made me think about what I should do within the first few weeks of the school year. It also made me think about how I can alter things when, inevitably, my plan does not go accordingly. I also thought a lot about the type of teacher I want to be for my students and how I can make their learning experiences good ones for each individual.
