Standard 6: Assessment
Description
My course notebook is something I added to throughout the semester. It is full of information from the class. In my course notebook you can find information on knowledge from the course, forms of instruction, forms of assessment, and vocabulary terms.
Reflection
When creating my course notebook – rereading and typing things we have gone over – it made me think a lot about the topics discussed in class. Seeing and interacting with this information in different ways and having it all in one place to look back on has been immensely helpful throughout the course. I think a course notebook can be beneficial for any type of course to help students have all their information in one place. I typically am an organized person, but even for me, compiling all my notes into one place that lives on my laptop was so helpful instead of looking back in my physical notebook or papers from class.
